Open Question: My ip address or my location is showing up somewhere else? Hmmm?

So at my old place my ip address was pulling up in denver, and now my ip address is pulling up in Aurora. I live in Lakewood and it doesn't make sense to me as to why my address or my physical location is showing up in different locations throughout the state, anyways the IP address in Aurora, Colorado is showing up less than a mile from BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE "BAFB" I don't know what it means although if anybody could elaborate on what this issue I am experiencing is?...
